Another fantastic year working with
The Avenues Project cementing the
relationship between JSS and
yourselves. Students have had a great
number of opportunities and have tried
a range of activities as well as
extending their learning and building
their relationships. Gemma Beattie-
Teacher, Joseph Swan School
We love the Girls Group. We are always
doing new things and learning to
respect ourselves and have self
confidence. Its nice and relaxing and
we can do girls stuff and not be
judged and have boys in your face. Its
somewhere to tell your problems and be
listend to. We plan our projects with
the workers every 12 weeks and do
something different every week. Chloe
Turner and Caitlyn Wheatleyl,Young
people of The Avenues
The Avenues is a great asset to the
Bensham and Saltwell community the
project provides the best support
network for the young people. The
project team are highly motivated,
providing the best youth provision
they can. The project gives young
people a voice;they work alongside
young people to run and plan sessions
and support young people to be them-
selves. Through the projects support
the natural barries between police and
young people have been reduce,as has
